“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

A very good question was raised by someone in our community. The question was, “why does any church have to do this?” The answer of course is that you want to make it easy to give you in ways they feel comfortable with regardless of what is happening, externally, to your community. The larger answer is that of the commission above. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

“You are the light of the world.” – Matthew 5:14-16 NIV

God is not surprised by anything. He is not surprised by the internet. He is not surprised about the communities of people on it. What He does need is people to go out into the internet and deliver his Word to them. More aptly put, if you feel led to it, then He wants your voice out on the internet to bring him back more people of whom you helped them win new faith. Of course, He preordains which children come to him. Yet, it is His prerogative that people like you and I are used as His Voice. “You are the light of the world.” – Matthew 5:14-16 NIV

The Great Commission

Your commission is to go out there and use the tools you are led to use. We cannot speak to what mediums or methods you are to use to grow your flock. If you are not led to this area of the ministry then you should not walk it. If you are then we are another tool in your arsenal. Unfortunately, we live in a fallen world. Living in a fallen world means that money is an issue when extending the reach of your ministry. You will need to be able to collect donations and gifts from your online flock. That is where we come in and we try to make it easier for you and your people to do more good work.

The Technical Side – Why You?

I am a, personally, a marketer by trade. If I see an issue then I tend to think about it as a marketer, first, then make my way out to other solutions stemming from those thoughts. Here is what I know as a marketer. Your voice, your particular voice, resonates with people who are like you. There is only one you out there and your voice is the one voice that can win someone out there sitting behind a computer who is lost and lonely. Therefore, your voice matters and should be heard. You are the voice that can and will save them if they encounter it. It is not a misnomer to say you were chosen to help this person find faith. Your experiences, the way you talk, and the way you teach are exactly what this person needs today.

Low Hanging Fruit

We call this, in the marketing world, “low hanging fruit”. You find more of the people who are predisposed to working with you. In this case, we are talking about “low hanging fruit” in the form of souls that you were chosen by God to lead to faith. For some of you, this is the Jonah moment. Again, we cannot say which of you this is for but it is highly likely that these words are for you. You may be being led to find more souls and convert them. Subsequently, you may be led to working more online. Functionally, here is a way to make it sustainable. If this is your moment then seize it. We will be happy to assist you and help you save more lost souls.

In Conclusion:

Your voice is needed locally and globally. You were chosen to convert someone out there. Moreover, you, out of all of the other possible people, was chosen to help someone find Jesus. If you are led to it then use every resource available to you to extend your reach as much as possible.
