Also, the article states that 12% of all Americans did not have enough to eat. A number that equates to 25.7 million people. Finally, the report also says that the US Census Bureau released findings that 14 million households with children say they do not have enough to eat often. It also states that philanthropy may not be enough in this case. However, every little bit helps combat hunger.
